Auther : Jiwaibir M. Al-Thibeiti

In the Holy Quran, Ibn Khuldons thought, and Western theory, anticipating catastrophe seems to be a promising new direction for future research, and represents a new strategy for vision and education.

The Catastrophe Theory and Model can be developed to understand global change, organizational growth and decline in the Arab world.

In this study, we discuss the principles of the Catastrophe theory and their application for future research in the Arab world. The findings of the study show that:

  1. Future research must focus on the principles of growth and decline of organizations.
  2. History must be used as the basis for forecasting the future of organizations.
  3. Holistic perception, vision and thought have to be the rules for studying the future of organizations.
