Semantic shift Strategies Used by Muslim Experts in the Science of the Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (in Arabic).

This study comes on as a response to the comprehensive semantic category which is concerned with every humanistic effort that seeks to discuss linguistic issues. To achieve that, a reportorial-descriptive methodology was used. Given the richness and modernity of semantic theory of the Muslim experts in the science of the principles of Islamic jurisprudence, the researcher investigated semantic categories as was used by them. The researcher was led by this to generate specific questions that may provide contemporary linguistic theory, and research as well, with worthy compilations. The linguistic efforts of the Muslim experts were synthesized and classified into categories to establish evidences that emphasize their priority and precedence in the field of linguisticsa. In fact, the process of synthesis and classification was conducted in light of contemporary linguistics theory. Study results indicate that linguistic efforts of the Muslim experts were fully developed. Contemporary linguistics as a discipline, could utilize these efforts to enhance better understanding of the field. That is to say that the structure of this discipline could be reshaped when the Muslim experts’ insights are given their due considerations.
