Arab Woman and Transformation of Arab Social Order: The Case of Wpman Arab Gulf Societies

The purpose of this paper is to examine the position of the role of Arab woman within the context of the Socio-economic transformation that took place in Arab world for the last ten years or so. It precisely study the impact of oil increase in 1973 on the rising of the conservation forces. Such emergence has, of course, affected the course of event in Egypt and other parts of Arab region, such a successful development programs in Egypt and Levant were demolished or obstructed, increased the link with western countries and weaken the bargaining position of the Arab world vis-aَ - vis the west.
Within these circumstances and others, and by the virtue of the intellectual and political domination of the traditional and Neo-Traditional new concept of the role and status of woman have emerged effected and still effect some of the social, political and economic freedom gained by the previous generation.
