The Role of the Kuwaiti Woman in Development Administration

Development administration is becoming especially important in the Gulf countries and the Arabian peninsula. This is due to the fact the vital element in development programs, which is manpower, is different in these countries. In the Gulf countries , there is an increasing demand for manpower in its different forms, but the available local manpower is not sufficient for the needs and the increasing prospects of development . As a solution to this problem and to meet development needs, these countries began to important manpower from Arab and non Arab countries. Such a solution creates the urgent need for development plans, but imposes upon these plans a burden that to be faced Moreover, it has social administrative and demographic consequences that these countries are being consider with anxiety. In Kuwait where the demand for manpower is increasing, we find that the Kuwait woman has not as yet started to undertake her role in development administration, and her contribution to the total manpower doesnt exceed 3.2% .
