A  learning package is a self – instruction system that enables a learner to achieve objectives at his own needs and interests . It is a step – by –step set of directions that gives the learner options to meet certain well defined objectives . it is a plan which tells the student what he is going to learn , suggests how he may learn through a variety of learning activities and resources , and determines if he has learned . the learning package plays a very important role in teaching – learning situations. It provides options for student interaction between teacher and student , encourages development of student responsibility and decision – making , and it is applicable to all areas of the curriculum . To design a good learning package , constructing the package’s cover , writing an introduction or rationale , stating behavioral objectives , constructing the package’s pre-assessment , writing the body of the package ,  constructing the package’s self – check , constructing, and writing a list of package’s resources and printed materials .The package is designed to make the student aware of , and concerned about Jordan’s Economy . The researcher has chosen “JORDAN,S ECONOMY” as the primary idea, followed by three secondary ideas:” AGRICULTURE AND ANIMAL HUSBUDRY” , “INDUSTRY”, and “TRADE” . various activities are listed which are highly related to objectives the student will have achieved after he (or she) has completed the package.
