Attitudes of Clinical Social Workers Toward Alcoholism

This study investigates whether or not there is consensus among clinical social workers regarding alcoholism. A sample of 200 clinical social workers were randomly selected to participate in the study. The method used in this composed this of a 5-points Likert scale questionnaire which was mailed to participants.
The results of this syudy revealed that; (a) there was consensus among clinical social workers regarding alcoholism; (b) the disease of alcoholism is strongly held among clinical social workers, and; (c) there was no difference between attitudes toward alcoholic women and alcoholic men.
