Estimating Completeness of Child Mortality Registration Among The Kuwaiti Population

This study assesses the completeness of child mortality data in Kuwait among Kuwaitis between the census years of 1975 and 1980 using census data on children ever born and surviving children. The Brass method, as an indirect method, was utilized in the analysis.
Results of the indirect method were compared with official vital statistics to determine the extent to which Kuwaiti child mortality registration between the census years 1975 and 1980 is complete. The analysis concludes that Kuwaiti child mortality between 1975 and 1980 is fairly complete.
