The present paper is concerned with the street children of Egyptian society at the present time of decline of values and traditions, the absence of role models, and the withdrawal of the state from fulfilling the needs of its people. It is also a time of increasing crime, weakness of production, increasing consumption, waste of the value of education and declining work ethic. This decline is indicated by crime, absence of democracy, human oppression, sectarian hatred and rule of violence at local, national and global level. This research shows that street children are a product of violence in all societies from America to the Third world, to Arab and Egyptian societies resulting in maltreatment of children at home, at school, by the media and on the streets.Violence by Egyptian authority results in pressure of the state on society, within society and on families, causing some of them to maltreat their children.
