The Role of Organizational Culture Enhancing Innovative Behavior: A Case Study of The College of Business Adminstration at Kuwait University

The aim of this paper is to shed light on organizational culture in the College of Business Administration (CBA) at Kuwait University and its relationship with innovative behavior. Based on a comprehensive literature review, a questionnaire was designed and administered by the present researchers. The questionnaire was distributed to (342) faculty members, teaching assistants, and administrative employees. The total number of those who completed and returned the questionnaires was (240) which represented a (70%) response rate. The study results showed a moderate overall level of organizational culture (3.3) points and (3.2) points of innovative behavior on Likert's five points scale, and the existence of a significant relationship between organizational culture and innovative behavior. The study recommended taking a number of measures to enhance positive organizational culture which can support innovative behavior.
