The Social Impacts of the Phenomenon of Child Labor in North Jordan ( An Emperical Study )

This study aims to identify the degree of social impacts of the phenomenon of child labor in the governorates of North Jordan of Ajloun, Irbid, Almafrag and Jerash. It seeks to answer the following question: What social impacts has child labor generated in these four governorates?
The researcher developed, as instrument for his study, a questionnaire that measures the degree of social effect of child labor in the said governorates. The sample of the study consisted of (200) worker children. The researcher used many statistical procedures for analyzing the data and explaining it, such as frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations. The findings of the study indicated that the degree of social effect of child employment in the governorates in the North of Jordan was of average value.
