Quality of Life for Female University Students: A Study among a Sample of Students from King Saud University and Alfaisal University in Riyadh

Objective: Thje Study aimed to determine the quality of life of university female students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the role played by each of the university (King Saud University, Al-Faisal University), income (hige or low), and specialization (Humanities, Science) in the quality of life measured on a sic-dimensional scale, as well as th nature of the relationship between the dimensions of quality of life and family income and the cumulative rate.. Methods: The quality of life standard for university students of Mansi and Kadhim (2006) was applied to 697 female students (375 from King Saud University and 322 from Al-Faisal University). Results: In feneral, the results indicated that the quality of life was high in two dimensions of quality: (family and social life, education and study), average in two dimensions: (general health, leisure time), and low in two dimensions as well: (mental health and emotional quality). The results showed that there was a statistically significant effect on the following variables: university type, income, the bilateral interaction between income and specialization, and the tripartite interaction between university, income, and specialization on the quality of life.
