Objective: This study deals with reformists' and conservatives' agendas in Iran through analyzing the way that their newspapers covered the protests that erupted in Iran on December 28, 2017 and lasted for about a week. It aims to compare between the ways each fraction covered the events, and it will try to answer one main question: how did the reformist and the conservatve Iranian newspapers deal with the protests. Methods: Ten newspapers are chosen for the purpose of the study. Five of them belong to the reformist fraction, and the other five are conservative newspapers. Ten issues were chosen for each newspaper. The study relies on quantitative content analysis as a tool. Results: The results show that each camp's agenda influenced its newspapers' coverage of the protests. Therefore, the coverage of the reformists' newspapers was positive in comparison to the conservatives'.
