Psychological Dimensions in The Critical Trends of Post-Structural Theory in International Relations

Objective: The study tackled the development of a new approach to the post-structuralist analysis as a result of its adoption of the critical tools of the political discourse in international relations. It turned out that it is interested in adopting a new psychological perspective for the analysis of international relations, which was clearly reflected in the theoretical approach, the unit of analysis and the subjects. Methods: The study used the descriptive analysis approach to illustrate aspects of attention to the psychological dimensions of the theory. Results: through the adoption of the hypothesis that there is a shift and change in the cognitive rules in post-structural theory towards psychological dimensions as a result of its interest and its increasing focus on the critical aspects in the theories of international relations.Conclusion: There is an interest in poststructural theory to focus on the absence of fixed limits to meanings, as a result of different facts and their understanding of the different psychological dimensions of people.
