ABSTRACT
Thirteen miospore forms of the genus Aurorusporu (Hoffmeister, Staph& Malloy 1955, emend. Richardson 1960) are described from the Upper Devonian sediments of western New York State and northern Pennsylvania. U.S.A. Two species are described for the first time. Two new varieties are erected and five new combinations are established. The lithology of the succession investigated is mainly composed of shale, siltstone and silty sandstone. Sixty-four samples from four formations have been analysed, all of which contained miospores of this taxon. In some horizons these are profusely represented.
