Displacement analysis by implementing statistical inductive learning and scientific visualization

ABSTRACT

This paper has focused on computing the displacements of single footings by using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and statistical inductive learning. A master grid system is used with minimum joints (coordinates) while a secondary grid system is used with maximum joints for displacement computations. The results produced by the secondary grid system were mapped into statistical inductive learning to predict the displacements for any grid system. The displacements were visualized by a comprehensive data analysis and graphical visual system that allowed the data to be presented beyond the traditional data graphical packages. The results show that the finite element analysis and the statistical inductive learning values were in good agreement.
