ABSTRACT

The paper provides a preliminary check list of the Family Tenebrionidae (Order Coleoptera) collected from Kuwait in the period between 1980 and 1984 inclusive. The list includes 67 species (in 29 genera) of which 53 species are new records to Kuwait and three species appear to be new to science. These will be described in a forthcoming communication. Notes on locality, date of collection and number of individuals caught are also provided.
